It’s simple, because it’s hair and eco-friendly! Many of our sustainable hair accessories are made from TPE, a soft, rubber-like plastic that can be recycled, for example our hair rings keep your hair looking cute without tugging, or pulling, and help prevent damage and headaches.

We use bamboo for our hairbrushes as it is a more sustainable option than wood. Made with the renewable and sustainable wheat straw plastic, they live up to our wishes for sustainable hair accessories and hairbrushes. Different hair textures and needs call for different kinds of hairbrushes, that’s why we have several kinds. Although, they have essentials in common: cushioned bristles that gently stimulate blood circulation, comfortable round-tipped pins and an ergonomic handle, and anti-static properties preventing static flyaways.

The hair benefits of bamboo fabric

Before getting into the hair benefits, let's mention more of the environmental benefits of bamboo fabric. Bamboo is considered a sustainable fabric because the bamboo plant, which is categorized as a grass, requires very little water and can grow up to 36 inches in just one day!

Our Silky Bamboo Duvet Cover and Pillowcases are produced using Bamboo Lyocell®, which is made according to the international OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for textiles, and certifies that every component of the product is free from harmful chemicals and meets our quality requirements. Bamboo Lyocell® is a naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial, odor-resistant, and thermo-regulating material. That means that the bamboo fabric in our bedding will keep you cool during summer nights and warmer during the colder months.

Cotton vs Bamboo fabric

Compared to cotton and polyester, bamboo fabric has a smoother and softer surface which reduces the friction between the bedding and your skin or hair, as you might move around while sleeping. The hair can gently glide on top of the bedding without causing unnecessary and rough friction.

Our Bamboo Towel Pillowcases and Bamboo Hair Towel Wraps are produced with a mix of bamboo fabric and cotton. Both products are made with 70% Bamboo Terry 400gsm, which is a soft, vegan and cruelty free material and also manufactured according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Just like our bedding, these products are hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and odor-resistant, and prevents damage on your hair when it's wet and more fragile. Plus, it’s more absorbent than a traditional towel, which means you can save precious hair-drying time!
