When you make a purchase from the website www.hairlust.com, you are dealing with the company Hairlust ApS.
Hairlust is a company that sells haircare products, dietary supplements for hair, brushes, and accessories as well as other hair care products for both men and women. You can read much more about our product line on our website www.hairlust.com.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all consumer purchases carried out via www.hairlust.com. (Terms and Conditions for B2B sales differ from these - please contact Hairlust on firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to hear more about our B2B offers).
1. Submission of orders
1.1 Conditions for submitting an order
You must be 15 years or older to purchase products via our website. If you wish to create a subscription with Hairlust (see section 5), you must be 18 years or older.
When you have placed an order via our website, the system will automatically send you an order confirmation by email with a list of the products you have ordered and an order number. This order confirmation is your electronic receipt showing that we have received your order. At the same time, it confirms that we have made a binding agreement. However, we reserve the right to change or cancel your order if the information you have provided is not correct (please see section 1.2 for more information).
1.2 What do I do if I have entered incorrect contact information?
If you have entered incorrect or insufficient contact information when placing your order, or if you have provided an incorrect delivery address when placing your order, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible on email@example.com in order for the mistake to be corrected and for you to receive correct information about your order. We will do our best to correct the mistake before shipping your order.
However, if incorrect or insufficient information has been entered and this is not corrected in time, you are responsible for the parcel with your order being sent to a wrong address. Hairlust does not replace or reship parcels that have been sent to incorrect addresses and does not cover the costs related to reshipment of parcels (e.g. payment of postage or new delivery costs) due to incorrect information entered by you at the time of placing the order.
On our website www.hairlust.com we accept the following means of payment: Klarna, PayPal, ApplePay and the following payment cards: VISA, MasterCard or Eurocard. You can also pay by electronic gift vouchers purchased on the webshop.
However, gift vouchers cannot be used in combination with discount codes and you can only use one gift voucher per order. You cannot combine two or more discount codes for the same purchase. Discount codes are not valid for the purchase of subscription products.
In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.
3.1 Who delivers your parcel?
The possible delivery types will appear when the address is entered correctly in the checkout. We offer delivery by e.g. DHL, CoolEurope, Posti, DAO, PostNord depending on the country. Delivery times and costs depend on the delivery address and will be shown on your order before you make the purchase.
Please note that DAO and DHL reserve the right to redirect the parcel to another (closest) parcel shop if the selected parcel shop is too full, closed or if DAO or DHL cannot deliver to the shop for other reasons (e.g. in connection with holidays or if the shop is no longer a DAO or DHL parcel shop).
3.2 Delivery times
Hairlust ApS packages orders every day of the year and your parcel is usually shipped the same day if you order before 14.00. Delivery times depend on the solution and supplier you have selected (please see section 3.1 above for the different delivery options).
Hairlust ApS will send an email to the email address you have provided with information about when you can expect shipment of your order and an estimated time of delivery. Delivery times will always be advisory and may vary in peak seasons.
If you have ordered more than one product, your total order will generally be shipped in one parcel and therefore, the product with the longest delivery time will decide the delivery time for your total order.
Please note whether the selected product has another delivery time listed as there may be longer delivery times for e.g. pre-orders of sold out products. Orders containing pre-ordered products will generally have a longer delivery time and you will be able to see the expected shipment or delivery date on the relevant product page. Please also see section 4 about special conditions for purchases of pre-ordered products.
3.3. Taxes and duties relating to delivery to other countries
We ship all orders from our warehouse in Denmark. If orders are made from outside Denmark and the EU, import taxes and duties may be incurred upon arrival at the destination. Hairlust ApS is not liable for these costs and we do not undertake to calculate or provide estimates hereof. If you make international purchases, you are advised to contact your local customs office for more information about costs and procedures.
4. Purchase of pre-order products
A product may sell out, e.g. due to high demand or in connection with a campaign. In some cases, we will be able to offer customers to pre-order the product for a period of up to approx. 2 weeks prior to the product being back in stock. This will allow these customers to be first in line for the product as soon as it is back in stock.
If a product is available for pre-order, the product photo in the webshop will be clearly labelled as such. The expected shipping or delivery date will also appear here.
Pre-order purchases are binding in the same way as other product purchases on the webshop (however, please see below for information regarding cancellation and changes to pre-ordered products).
If you have made a pre-order product purchase, your order will not be shipped until the product is back in stock. This means that you will receive your order confirmation as soon as you have placed the order, but the money will not be withdrawn from your account until the product is back in stock and your order is ready for packaging and shipment. You will receive information by email when your order is shipped. This email will also include tracking information for the parcel which will enable you to track its delivery progress.
If you wish to cancel the purchase of a pre-ordered product or make changes to your order, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible before the order is shipped and we will do our best to assist you as quickly as possible.
5. Subscription to Hairlust
5.1 About subscription purchases
Hairlust offers you the possibility of receiving a selection of products regularly and automatically by subscribing to such products without any subscription charge. Additionally, you get a 10% fixed discount on your subscription products. Subscription purchases are always voluntary and require that you actively select them. The standard purchase setting is for one-time purchases and the subscription is therefore an extra service we offer. It is also possible to combine subscription purchases and non-subscription purchases in one order.
When you make a subscription with us, we send your parcel to the nearest parcel shop in our system in relation to your address.

How to make subscription purchases
- Find the products you wish to subscribe to (products available for subscription will appear from the website)
- Select how often you wish to receive the products
- Add the products to your basket and pay for your purchases
5.2 The subscription
When you request subscription delivery for your products, you select how often you wish to receive the product(s) by choosing between the available intervals. Hairlust will send the products to your selected delivery address at the intervals and by the delivery method selected by you. This applies until you either cancel or change your subscription for each product.
5.3 To be a subscriber
When you first create a subscription by selecting to subscribe for products you purchase via our webshop, you will be registered as a Hairlust subscriber. This means that we save your preferred delivery method and your payment details in your profile. If you subscribe to more than one product, the same payment card and delivery address is used for all products. You can always change the payment card and delivery address under your profile. Please also see section 5.6 about subscription payments.
5.4 Cancellation and changes
You can change or cancel your subscription to one or more of the subscription products. Your subscription may be cancelled until 48 hours prior to your next delivery and there is no minimum contract term. Consequently, you are not bound by a certain period and may cancel your subscription at any time.
You can make changes and cancellations under “subscription” on your profile or by contacting our customer services. Please allow up to 2 days’ turnaround for your email to customer services.
5.5 Subscription discount, pricing and discount codes
You will receive a fixed discount of 10% off the regular price of the products you choose to subscribe for. The exact discount will appear on the product page. When you set up a subscription for a product, you may find there is a discount code or other campaign offer for the product you wish to subscribe for. These discount codes do not apply to subscription products.
5.6 Automatic payment of subscriptions
When you create a subscription with Hairlust, you accept and provide your consent that payment for the subscription products will be automatically withdrawn from your payment card.
This withdrawal will automatically be made for every delivery following your first purchase at which you select a subscription for the requested products. We will not withdraw the amount before your products are dispatched and you will receive an email with relevant information prior to each delivery.
5.7 Subscribing does not cost extra
You will not receive additional invoices and no extra fees will be added; you only pay for what you get. In addition to this, you get a 10% fixed discount on the purchase of subscription products via our webshop. We look forward to making your everyday life easier.
Please note, however, that you cannot use discount codes when purchasing subscription products. Please also see section 5.5.
6. Cancellation right, replacement and return
6.1 Cancellation conditions
You have a 14 days’ right of cancellation when you purchase orders online from Hairlust ApS. The cancellation period runs from the day you receive the product. If you have ordered different products in the same order and these are delivered individually, the cancellation period runs from the day you receive the last product (we do, however, endeavour to deliver all products at the same time - please also see section 3.2.)
This means that you have 14 days from receipt of your product to inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase. Please send an email to email@example.com if you wish to cancel your purchase.
Please provide your order number, your contact information and inform us whether you wish to exercise your cancellation right and/or whether you wish to replace your product with one of our other products.
If you cancel your purchase or wish to replace a product for another product, the product in question must be returned to the following address:
Please return the product(s) without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us that you wish to exercise your cancellation right. Otherwise you risk losing your cancellation right.
All costs relating to the product return are borne by you. If the parcel is returned by way of a return code e.g. because you did not collect the parcel in time or because of missing or incorrect information provided by you, you will be charged a return fee corresponding to €40 for returns by DHL Express, and €14.95 for all other shipping companies. If you want a resend, please contact our customer service.
If you wish to replace a product you must also notify it within 14 days of receiving the product. In addition to the costs related to the return of the originally purchased product, you must pay the price difference if the replacement product costs more than the originally purchased product. If the replacement product costs less than the originally purchased product, we will refund the price difference.
6.2 Condition of return products
Products must to the widest extent possible be returned in the same condition as you received them. If you have used the products to an extent which exceeds what is necessary to determine the nature, properties and functionality of the products, you may not receive a refund for the full purchase amount.
It is not possible to return or exchange pillow or duvet covers if the packaging has been broken. This is not possible due to hygiene and health reasons.
Please ensure that the product is returned carefully wrapped in safe packaging. As a starting point, you will be liable for any transport damages and we therefore recommend that you always return the product with track and trace.
6.3 Cancellation rights for gift vouchers
Gift vouchers purchased via our website are issued electronically by email. Gift vouchers are valid for 2 years from the time of purchase and may be used for any purchase on www.hairlust.com.
You may cancel the gift voucher purchase within 14 days after the purchase. You can, however, not cancel the gift voucher purchase if you have already redeemed (used) the gift voucher.
Furthermore, according to the provisions of the Payment Act you are entitled to receive pay-out of the gift voucher value. However, we may charge a fee corresponding to the costs relating to the pay-out if you wish to receive the pay-out prior to the expiry of the validity period for the gift voucher.
6.4 Repayment of the purchase sum
When you cancel a purchase and the purchase sum is refunded to you, the amount will always be returned to the account connected with the payment card or payment method that was used for the order. Please note that it may take 3-5 bank days from our approval of returned products and until you see the amount in your bank account.
6.5 Returns during Christmas
We offer an extended right of cancellation when you purchase orders online from Hairlust ApS between December 1-24. All orders placed during this period can be returned up to and including January 31.
7. Right of complaint
The provisions in the Danish Sale of Goods Act regarding right of complaint and defects apply to product purchases made on www.hairlust.com.
Under the Danish Sale of Goods Act you have 2 years’ right of complaint from the receipt of the product.
Please remember to file a complaint within “reasonable time” after discovering the defect on the product. If you complain within two months after you have discovered the flaw or deficiency, the complaint will always be considered timely.
If your complaint is warranted, the product can either be repaired or exchanged or you may receive a price deduction or refund of the purchase price, depending on the specific situation.
Please note that we do not offer a “satisfaction guarantee”. The fact that, for instance, you do not like the smell or taste of a product, have had an allergic reaction to active ingredients that are clearly marked on the product or the product page or in situations where there is nothing wrong with the product, is not a defect covered by the right of complaint.
7.2 How do I complain?
If you wish to complain about a product, you must contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Please send us your order number, a photo of the product and a description of the defect. Based on this, we will decide whether the product should be returned.
If your complaint is approved and we want you to return the product, we will refund reasonable costs relating to the product return.
If we need to examine the product in order to carry out a further assessment of your complaint, the product must be returned to us. In this case, you will initially have to cover the costs relating to the return. If the complaint is subsequently approved, the costs relating to the return of the defective product(s) will be refunded to you (within reason). In such a case you must be able to provide a receipt for the costs relating to the return of the product(s), so it is important that you save this.
If your complaint is not approved, we will return the product to you and you will not receive a refund for the delivery costs relating to your complaint.
